Shelly Rutt | Broker & Owner, Wagons West Realty

For over 30 years, I have proudly served the Goshen County community as a dedicated real estate professional, taking the helm as Broker and Owner of Wagons West Realty in February 2014. Though I was born in Nebraska, I grew up on the dirt roads of Goshen County and have called this area home since the mid-1980s. I truly love being a part of this community, and that passion translates into how I run my business.

I strive to serve my clients both professionally and personally, making the home buying and selling experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. While the majority of our market consists of traditional sales, I have extensive experience in all aspects of the real estate industry. Whether it is a standard transaction, a foreclosure, or a complex short sale, I know the process inside and out. I will walk you through every step, answer all your questions, and go down every avenue to help you achieve your real estate goals.

My commitment to the industry is matched by my dedication to my peers. I was honored to be voted the 2003 Realtor® of the Year by the North Platte Valley Board of Realtors. I also served as the Board's President from 2009–2011, and previously held the Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer seats from 2007–2009.

Wagons West Realty has flourished over the years in large part because of our deep roots here. We actively sponsor diverse community activities and organizations, including D.A.R.E., Goshen County Rooster Boosters, and Gracie's Promise.

When I am not at the office, my heart is with my family. I married my wonderful husband, longtime Goshen County resident Kirk Rutt, in October 2016. Together, our blended family includes my son, Owen, my daughter, Olive, and Kirk's children: Sawyer (and his wife Sarah), Austin, and Bailey (and her husband Malcomb), who I am lucky enough to work alongside as a real estate agent here at Wagons West. We are also blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. Whether we are out camping or cheering on Olive at her college volleyball matches, family and community are at the center of everything I do.
